R&Q Engagement Hub: Discover the Future Is Now

Research & Quality Engagement Hub | OTO EXPO Booth #641

Stop by to see how AAO-HNSF Research and Quality is using data, evidence, and quality improvement to move otolaryngology forward.

Reg-ent℠ | Reg-ent is the largest otolaryngology clinical data registry in the U.S., with 20 million patients, 200 million encounters, and 2,000 clinicians. It is evolving into an AI-enabled platform for research, quality improvement, and innovation. See some of the latest tools at the booth:

    • Cochlear Implant Screening Module: Uses AI-processed audiograms and EHR data to flag likely cochlear implant candidates, including those meeting the 60/60 referral benchmark, within a standard clinical workflow.
    • Outcomes Dashboard: Lets academic centers and private practices track outcomes, patient populations, and performance trends over time.

CORE Grants | In 2026, CORE Grants awarded $834,000 through 47 grants at 29 institutions. Ask about the new CORE SPARK Network, which connects researchers across the specialty.

Guidelines and Consensus Statements | Our Clinical Practice Guidelines and Expert Consensus Statements offer trusted, evidence-based guidance. New digital and "living" guidelines will bring emerging evidence into practice faster.

New Grant-Funded Initiatives | Learn about our national initiative adapting the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms Framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility) for otolaryngology.
