Practice Makes Perfect: Hands-On Simulation

Sunday's Simulation Spotlight: Simulation Showcase and SIM Tank!

Picture a space where you can rehearse complex procedures, test new tools, and sharpen your decision-making with zero risk to patients. From 3D-printed surgical models to virtual reality and AI-powered training, simulation at the Annual Meeting turns learning into something you do, not just something you hear.

A Puzzling Night on Call: An Otolaryngology Escape Room Experience (4th Annual)

Sunday | 1:00–2:00 pm and 2:30–3:30 pm | OTO EXPO, Simulation Center 1

Compete to solve otolaryngology logic puzzles and skill-based simulation tasks in this challenge sponsored by the Simulation Education Committee.

Simulation Center

The Simulation Center returns with skills training across the specialty. Located in the OTO EXPO, check the schedule in the meeting app for the full list of courses.

Simulation Showcase & SIM Tank

Sunday | 5:00–6:30 pm | JW Marriott, Platinum Ballroom E

Simulation scholars demonstrate their innovative otolaryngology simulators, projects, and curricula during the Showcase. The top three projects then advance to the SIM Tank, where authors pitch to expert judges for cash prizes. Projects are evaluated on innovation and creativity, scalability across the specialty, and advancement of training and practice. Look for the winners in the Meeting Daily and on social media!
