Welcome to Indy: Where the Exceptional Awaits

The global otolaryngology community has traveled near and far to come together over these next few days in Indianapolis for the AAO-HNSF 2025 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO. Whether you're here to share groundbreaking research, engage in dynamic discussions, network with peers, or experience the latest innovations in the OTO EXPO, your participation enriches this event and strengthens the specialty.
"As we gather over these next few days, I look forward to meeting new friends and connecting with long-time colleagues. One of the things I love most about this meeting is its spirit of connection. Whether you're catching up with old friends, grabbing lunch with a future mentor, or meeting someone new at the Presidents' Reception or at one of the General Assemblies, the conversations that happen at the Annual Meeting often grow into lifelong collaborations. These aren't just casual exchanges—they become career-defining relationships, expanding your network with sponsors, allies, and advocates who believe in your growth."
Troy D. Woodard, MDAAO-HNS/F President
Day One Begins Tomorrow
The journey begins Saturday morning at 8:00 am with the Opening Ceremony in the Sagamore Ballroom of the Indiana Convention Center, featuring Academy leadership and James L. Netterville, MD, AAO-HNS/F Past President and Hall of Distinction inductee, delivering the John Conley, MD Lecture on Medical Ethics. From there, the education and networking opportunities truly take flight.
"What makes this Annual Meeting exciting is the convergence of over 5,000 colleagues, experts, and professionals, who have traveled from over 75 countries. As we gather together here in Indianapolis, we're not just attending sessions; we're participating in the global conversation that shapes the future of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery."

A Program That's Can't-Miss
This year's programming reflects the exceptional stewardship of Cecelia Damask, DO, Annual Meeting Program Coordinator, and the Annual Meeting Program Committee. The program continues the tradition of excellence in didactic teaching while embracing modern approaches to medical education.
"This Annual Meeting represents everything I love about our Academy—the pursuit of excellence, commitment to innovation, and deep sense of community. Our focus was creating an event environment that feels like an overall experience rather than just a series of presentations. This means we curated a holistic program that invites attendees to immerse themselves fully in the moment—an opportunity to learn, rejuvenate, and recharge. And because of that, this Annual Meeting is something that you can only experience in person."
Cecelia Damask, DOAnnual Meeting Program Coordinator
