The Traveling Museum | Saturday – Tuesday | Crossroads Corridor between Rooms 140 and 139
The AAO-HNS/F History and Archives Committee presents attendees with the 2025 Traveling Museum, an exhibit honoring Chevalier Q. Jackson (1865–1958), the pioneering “father of endoscopy.” The collection features Jackson’s original bronchoscopes and laryngoscopes, medical paintings, textbooks, photographs, and personal memorabilia.
Annual Resident Historical Research Competition: Advancing the Future of Otolaryngology through the Lens of History

Complementing the exhibit, residents and students will present original historical research, judged on scholarly depth and narrative impact. Attendees will gain new insights into how the specialty’s past continues to shape clinical practice and inspire future innovation.
