Residents, take your positions! The 19th Annual Academic Bowl brings four residency programs head-to-head in a fast-paced, clinically oriented battle of the brains. Teams will face rapid-fire, multiple-choice questions across otolaryngology subspecialties, the business of medicine, and the latest clinical research findings. Under the bright lights and the ticking clock, only one team will reign supreme.
Meet the contenders:
- University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), David Geffen School of Medicine
- University of Maryland School of Medicine
- University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine
- Washington University (WashU) School of Medicine in St. Louis
Leading the action is Jeffrey P. Simons, MD, MMM, of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, joined by panelists AAO-HNS/F President Eugene G. Brown, III, MD, RPh, of Charleston ENT & Allergy; AAO-HNS/F President-Elect Daniel C. Chelius, Jr., MD, of Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital; AAO-HNS/F EVP and CEO Rahul K. Shah, MD, MBA; and Meredith Merz Lind, MD, of Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University.
Whether you’re rooting for UCLA, Maryland, USC, or WashU, pack the room, bring your loudest cheers, and watch one team rise to the top!
Attendees can earn one CME/MOC credit.
Interactive, multiple-choice questions are generated by the AAO-HNSF Education Committees using evidence-based items from the Otolaryngology Core Curriculum and OTO Quest knowledge banks.
